Online Help Files
The user interface is pretty easy to get used to. Below is a screenshot of the window
With some tree items expanded.
General Info
- Items with "Registry" in them are registry items
- Items with "Folder" ("Startup Folder") are Start Menu\Programs\Startup items
- Current User contains ONLY current user (your) items
- All Users contains items that apply for ALL users
- Delayed Items are all the delayed items
- Stopped Items are all the stopped items
- Numbers in ()'s tell how many items are UNDER that branch
-
A number of 3 in "Current User" means that in Current
User startup folder items + Current User Registry Run items = 3
-
A number of 12 in "All Users Registry Run" means that there
are 12 items in the "All users registry run" key.
So... if you have a "Registry" item in "Current User", under "Stopped Items", it's a
registry item in the current user's registry key that's been stopped.
Or... if you have a "Startup Folder" item in "Current User", under "Delayed ITems",
it's a startup folder item that's been delayed.
Clicking the Box to the left of an item is "checking" it.
Checking "Current User" will check ALL items under it.
Checking "Registry Run" will check ALL items under it, but NOT Startup Folder.
Clicking the "+" beside an item (or double-clicking it) will expand the item.
Clicking the "-" beside an item (or double-clicking it) will collapse the item
No shortcut keys exist to do delay/stop/run/save/etc commands. This is intentional.
If you accidently hit the wrong key (which could easilly happen), you'd have to manually
undo all the changes.
