Uninstalling Delayed Startup v2

Ok.. so you want to uninstall the program. Easy to do, although there are a few things to do FIRST

• Startup ALL Delayed and stopped items for EVERY user on the computer (this means login and do it from there for all of them)
• Uninstall the program in the Add/Remove control panel applet
  • If you've installed patches... they'd be called something like: Delayed Startup Patch 1...Patch 2, etc)
  • Uninstall the highest patch number FIRST, and so on, then uninstall the main program - mainly just to make sure all entries are removed
• Manually remove the files in the program file folder AFTER the items are running properly. Once they're removed, there's no getting them back!

Please know that a "Delayed Startup & Program Manager Ver 2 Toolkit" is being devised to assist in the uninstallation procedure once you've uninstalled the program.
This toolkit will automate the final steps required to remove all traces of the delayed startup program, along with resuming all stopped and delayed programs for all users, without the need for manual intervention (although it will take 1 login for all users that have run the program to finish).

If you do not wish to wait for this program. Below is the complete list of all folders/registry entries that can be removed once the program is uninstalled, and all items that were delayed/stopped resumed (items listed are the top most item to be removed - removing it will remove the subitems also):

• C:\Program Files\Quantum Rift Software\Delayed Startup 2\
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Programs\Quantum Rift Software\Delayed Startup
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Programs\Quantum Rift Software\Delayed Startup

* You can remove the Quantum Rift Software Key from the registry, if you don't have any other products of ours.
